My friend and I have both been Backstreet Boys fans for years, and we’ve even gotten to see them in concert together. So when we found out that a Backstreet Boys song was featured in the new PAW Patrol: Dino Movie, we knew we had to take our kids to see it.

And, of course, we couldn’t just go to a kids’ movie like normal people. 😂 We wore our Backstreet Boys shirts, and I even had my kids wear white — just like we did for the concert. Because apparently, if we’re going to see a movie featuring a BSB song, we’re turning it into a mini Backstreet Boys event.

What started as going to Backstreet Boys concerts together has somehow turned into bringing our kids along for the fun, and honestly, I kind of love that.

Our Backstreet Boys Adventure Started in Las Vegas

Our Backstreet Boys adventure actually started with the Millennium 2025 Tour at the Sphere in Las Vegas. My friend and I had the absolute best time. We stayed at the Venetian, made a whole moms’ trip out of it, wore white just like the rest of the BSB crowd, danced our hearts out, and honestly felt like teenagers again for the night.

It was truly the best concert either of us had ever been to. There was something so fun about getting to step away from our everyday mom lives for a little while and just be two friends who love the Backstreet Boys. 😂

We laughed, danced, sang every word, and soaked up every second of it. It was one of those trips that reminded us how fun it is to make time for the things you loved before kids — and to have a friend who loves them just as much as you do.

So when we found out that a Backstreet Boys song was featured in the new PAW Patrol: Dino Movie, it felt like the perfect opportunity to bring a little bit of our BSB tradition into a family outing. This time, though, our kids were coming along for the fun.

When Your Kids Start Becoming Backstreet Boys Fans Too 😂

After our Las Vegas trip, I think my kids officially started becoming Backstreet Boys fans by association. 😂 I had been listening to BSB nonstop while getting ready for the concert, so naturally, they heard plenty of Backstreet Boys music too. At this point, they know the songs and will actually sing along with me.

And since my kids are still in the elementary school years, PAW Patrol is very much a thing in our house. So when we found out that the Backstreet Boys were singing the main song for the new PAW Patrol: Dino Movie, it felt like the most perfect combination.

Something my kids already loved + something Mom already loved? Sold.

As soon as they found out the Backstreet Boys were part of the movie, they were all about it. They wanted to go see it, and I was obviously more than happy to make that happen. It was one of those rare moments where our interests actually collided perfectly — they got their PAW Patrol movie, and Mom got a little more Backstreet Boys. 😂

Of Course We Had to Dress for the Occasion

Of course, we couldn’t go to a movie featuring the Backstreet Boys without dressing for the occasion. 😂 My friend and I wore our BSB shirts from the concert — which are probably the most expensive T-shirts we own — but honestly, they were worth it.

And because we wore white for the concert in Las Vegas, I decided my kids needed to wear white too. Thankfully, they were completely on board with the idea. 😂

So we headed to the movie theater in our unofficial Backstreet Boys family uniform: BSB shirts for the moms and white for the kids.

We had such a fun time at the theater, and the movie was honestly so cute. The kids loved it, and I loved getting to see their excitement while also getting that little Backstreet Boys connection sprinkled into our family outing.

It was such a simple afternoon, but it ended up being one of those little family memories that I’ll always be glad we made.

Backstreet Boys: A Love That Keeps Getting Passed Down

One of the things I love most about the Backstreet Boys is that they really are timeless. Their music has been around for decades, but somehow it still feels just as fun to sing, dance, and scream along to all these years later.

The Millennium 2025 Tour brought so many longtime fans back together, but what’s even cooler is that so many of us are now bringing our families along for the ride. We grew up listening to the Backstreet Boys, went to their concerts with our friends, and now we’re introducing their music to our kids. Seeing multiple generations enjoy the same music is pretty special.

What started as a moms’ trip to Las Vegas and the best Backstreet Boys concert turned into our kids wearing white and heading to the theater to see a PAW Patrol movie featuring a BSB song. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So, Backstreet Boys, you’ve officially made it from our concert playlists to our family movie days.

Now can we just get you guys to play the Super Bowl halftime show already?! 😂 Because I think we’re all ready for that.
