If you grew up in the ’90s, chances are you remember the Backstreet Boys. I was born in the late ’80s, and by middle school, I was obsessed. They were my favorite band, I knew every song by heart, and my bedroom walls were covered in Backstreet Boys posters.

So when I heard the Backstreet Boys were bringing their Las Vegas residency to the Sphere, I knew I had to go. After seeing videos of the show on Instagram, I was completely sold. I was devastated when the original summer dates were coming to an end—and then absolutely ecstatic when they announced additional shows. And now they’ve extended the residency again!

After seeing the show for myself, I can confidently say this: it was the greatest concert I’ve ever been to.

So if you’re debating whether you should see the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere in Las Vegas, here are 10 reasons you absolutely need to go.

1. The Backstreet Boys Haven’t Aged

I’m just going to say it: the Backstreet Boys look AMAZING. 😂 They seriously look almost exactly the same as they did when I was a kid. Somehow, they’ve managed to stay completely ageless, and seeing them on stage in person was honestly surreal. I kept thinking, How do these guys still look this good?! They haven’t aged, and I am absolutely here for it.

2. They Still Sound Just Like They Did When I Was a Kid

The Backstreet Boys truly sound just like they did when I was a kid. Their voices are incredible, and there is so much soul and emotion when they sing live. They are also so much fun to watch on stage—they interact with the crowd, joke around, dance, and genuinely seem like they are having the best time up there. Hearing those familiar voices live again was every bit as amazing as I hoped it would be.

3. The Sphere Makes It an Unforgettable Experience

The Sphere is absolutely incredible. The concert is so immersive that you genuinely feel like you’ve been transported somewhere else. When I showed my five- and seven-year-old videos from the concert, they actually thought I had gone to outer space! 😂 Between the incredible visuals, projections, music, and effects, you feel like you’re floating through space, traveling to the moon, or even riding on a spaceship. The visuals paired with the music are just incredible, and the entire experience is so well done. Concerts at the Sphere are truly unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

4. The Nostalgia Is Everything

If you grew up listening to the Backstreet Boys, this concert is a total trip down memory lane. Hearing the songs you grew up with and singing along to every word instantly takes you back to being a kid. There’s something so special about looking around the Sphere and realizing that everyone around you is having that same nostalgic experience. For a few hours, you get to forget about being an adult and just be that Backstreet Boys-obsessed kid again. And honestly, there’s nothing quite like it.

5. The All-White Dress Code Is So Much Fun

One of my favorite parts of the Backstreet Boys concert is that everyone wears white, and people seriously commit to it! 🤍 You see everything from cute white dresses and jumpsuits to sparkly outfits and full-on Backstreet Boys-inspired looks. It makes the entire crowd feel like we’re all part of the show.

Everyone gets so into it—singing, dancing, taking pictures, and just having the best time. There is something so fun about looking around and seeing thousands of people dressed in white, all there for the exact same reason. It just adds to the whole vibe of the concert.

6. The Backstreet Boys Terminal at The Venetian Is So Cool

The Backstreet Boys Terminal at The Venetian is such a fun addition to the whole experience. You genuinely feel like you’re walking into an airport, with airplane-inspired areas, props, old magazine covers featuring the Backstreet Boys, and even cardboard cutouts you can take photos with. They also have Backstreet Boys music videos projected throughout the space, a bar, and areas upstairs for picking up packages and tickets.

And of course, there’s the Backstreet Boys merch store, which is filled with so much fun stuff. Is it expensive? Absolutely. 😂 But is it also really cool to browse and find something to take home? Definitely. It makes the whole Vegas trip feel like one giant Backstreet Boys experience.

7. The Backstreet Boys Merch Is So Good

The Backstreet Boys merch is so good. They have everything from T-shirts and sweatshirts to jackets, accessories, and all kinds of fun souvenirs. It is definitely not cheap—I’m pretty sure the T-shirts were around $50—but there are so many fun options for lifelong fans.

I actually didn’t buy anything from the merch store because I decided to treat myself to a Louis Vuitton purse instead. 😂 And now my seven-year-old calls it my “Backstreet Boys purse” because she knows I bought it on my trip to Las Vegas to see the Backstreet Boys. Anytime she sees someone carrying a Louis Vuitton, she’ll point it out and tell me they have a Backstreet Boys purse too. Honestly, I think I like that story even better than anything I could have bought at the merch store.

8. It’s the Perfect Excuse for a Las Vegas Girls’ Trip

I ended up making this my first mom’s trip away from my kids with a girlfriend, and it was so much fun. We got to get dressed up, explore Las Vegas, eat good food, laugh way too much, and just enjoy some much-needed time away. It was exactly what we needed, and honestly, I couldn’t think of a better excuse for a girls’ trip than flying to Vegas to see the Backstreet Boys!

9. People Are Traveling From All Over the World to See Them

The Backstreet Boys’ Las Vegas residency has become so much more than just a concert. Fans are traveling from all over the world to see them at the Sphere, and many are coming back to see the show more than once. It has become a destination experience in its own right, bringing Backstreet Boys fans to Las Vegas specifically for the chance to see this incredible show.

There is just something so cool about knowing that people are flying across the country—and even across the world—to be part of this experience. It says a lot about how special this concert really is. And honestly, once you see it, I completely understand why people keep coming back. 😂

10. It’s So Good, I’m Going Back Again

And finally, the biggest reason I can give you to see the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere? I’m going back! 😂

I loved the concert so much that I’m heading back to Las Vegas to see them again. This time, I’m going with two more girlfriends, I’ll be seeing the show from a completely different section, and I’m especially excited because my first trip was in the winter and now I get to wear a fun summer concert outfit!
