I may be 37 years old, but the Backstreet Boys still take me right back to middle school. Like so many millennials, I grew up listening to “I Want It That Way,” decorating my room with posters, and dreaming about seeing them in concert someday.
When my friend and I found out they were performing in Las Vegas, we knew we had to go. Just a few days after Christmas, we packed our bags and headed to Vegas for the winter concert—and it was every bit as fun as we hoped. Singing along with thousands of other fans brought back so many memories.
The only question before the trip was… what do you wear to a Backstreet Boys concert?
After attending the show (and already planning another trip back!), I wanted to share what I wore, what worked well, and some cute outfit ideas if you’re getting ready for your own concert.

What I Wore to a Backstreet Boys Concert
For the post-Christmas Backstreet Boys concert, I wore a gorgeous white strapless jumpsuit with feather detailing from Petal & Pup, and I absolutely loved it. It was comfortable, stylish, and felt just dressy enough for a fun night in Las Vegas. Sizing Tip: For reference, I’m 5’2” and about 115 pounds. I normally wear a size small, but I ended up exchanging it for an extra small. The fabric has a nice amount of stretch, and because I have a shorter torso, the extra small fit me much better. In my opinion, this jumpsuit runs slightly large, so if you’re between sizes or have a petite frame like I do, I’d consider sizing down.

Sphere Bag Policy: Don’t Bring Your Everyday Purse!
One thing that surprised me before attending the Backstreet Boys concert at Sphere in Las Vegas was the venue’s incredibly strict bag policy.
Sphere is considered a “no bag” venue, meaning large purses, backpacks, and tote bags are not allowed. Guests may only bring a small clutch, purse, or fanny pack measuring approximately 6” x 6” x 2” or smaller. Be sure to double-check the latest policy before your concert, as venue rules can change.
To make packing easier, I’ve rounded up a few cute concert-friendly bags that fit the size requirements (or come very close). They’re perfect for carrying your phone, ID, credit card, lipstick, and a few other essentials without worrying about getting turned away at security.
⚠️ Many “stadium-approved” bags sold on Amazon are actually too large for the Sphere’s smaller bag policy. Always double-check the listed dimensions before purchasing.
💙 Pro Tip: If you forget a venue-approved bag or can’t find one that fits the requirements, stop by the Backstreet Boys Terminal fan experience at The Venetian before the show.
