What Is Pura?

Pura is a smart home fragrance system that lets you fill your home with fragrance without having to light a candle or constantly remember to turn on a diffuser. Pura offers several different types of fragrance devices, including plug-in diffusers, countertop options, and even a diffuser designed specifically for your car.

The Pura 4 is the diffuser I love for everyday use throughout my home. It simply plugs into the wall, so there’s no countertop space required, and I think the design is really cute. It looks nice enough that I don’t mind having it out in the open, and it’s incredibly easy to use.

One of my favorite features is the built-in light. I have one of my Pura diffusers in the hallway, and I love being able to turn the light on when I’m walking to the bathroom at night. It also works really well as a little nightlight for kids, which is such a practical feature for a family home.

It’s one of those products that makes your house smell amazing while also adding a little extra functionality to your space.

Pura Plus Smart Fragrance Diffuser

The Pura Plus is a little different from my plug-in Pura, and I love having it in my kitchen. The design is beautiful enough that it almost looks like a piece of home decor, which I really appreciate.

One thing I especially love is how easy it is to turn on. Sometimes timers are great, but sometimes I don’t want to think about a schedule. If I’m in the kitchen and want the house to smell amazing, I can simply tap the button, turn it on, and enjoy it. When I’m done, I can turn it right back off.

That simplicity is one of my favorite things about it. It feels like a small luxury, but it’s also incredibly easy to use.

And then there’s the Pura Car, which might be my favorite little addition to my car. It is so easy to use, and it makes my car smell so good.

I also really love the sleek black design. It fits in really well with the interior of my car and doesn’t look out of place or overly bulky. As a mom who spends a lot of time in the car, having it smell fresh and amazing is one of those little things that makes driving around just a little more enjoyable.

Why I Love Pura

There are so many things I love about using Pura throughout our home, but my favorite is how easy it is. I can set schedules for different scents, adjust the fragrance intensity, and even have refills delivered right to my door. The fragrances come in pre-filled scent vials, so there’s no measuring, mixing oils, or dealing with messy bottles—I simply pop the fragrance into the diffuser and it’s ready to go.

I also love the huge variety of scents available. There are so many that smell absolutely amazing, and I can easily switch them out depending on the season or the mood I want in our home. Their seasonal fragrances are especially fun—I love having different scents for fall, Christmas, spring, and summer. Since I have several Pura diffusers throughout our home, I can even have different fragrances in different spaces.

My Favorite Pura Scents

One of my favorite things about Pura is the huge variety of fragrances. I love being able to switch scents depending on the season, the room, or even my mood. These are some of the fragrances I reach for over and over again.

Fraser Fir — My All-Time Favorite

If I had to choose just one Pura fragrance, Fraser Fir would be it. It’s technically a perfect Christmas scent, but I love it so much that I use it year-round. It has that fresh, crisp Christmas-tree smell that makes the whole house feel clean and cozy without being overly sweet.

I actually keep Fraser Fir in my car, too, and I regularly use it throughout our home. It is easily my most-used Pura fragrance and the one I recommend whenever someone asks me which scent they should try first.

Pumpkin Dulce — A Fall Favorite

Pumpkin Dulce is another one I reach for during the fall. It has that delicious, sweet, cozy fragrance that makes the whole house feel warm and inviting.

Pumpkin Chai — Perfect for Fall

And of course, Pumpkin Chai! This is another favorite when the seasons change. It’s warm, cozy, and has that classic fall feeling I love.

Capri Blue Volcano — The Kids’ Favorite

Capri Blue Volcano is another one of our absolute favorites—and this one is especially popular with my kids. It has that bright, fresh, slightly sweet scent that makes the whole house smell amazing. If Fraser Fir is my signature scent, Volcano is definitely the one my kids would pick!

Lavender — My Bedroom Favorite

In our bedroom, I love using a lavender Pura fragrance. I keep the diffuser set to a low intensity, and the soft lavender scent makes the room feel calm and relaxing. I personally find it really soothing at bedtime, and I feel like I sleep especially well with that subtle lavender fragrance in the background.

I love that I can keep it on such a low setting in the bedroom—the scent is there without being overpowering.

Is Pura Worth It?

In my opinion, Pura is 100% worth it. I’ve tried different ways to make our home smell amazing over the years, and Pura is by far one of the easiest and most convenient options I’ve found.

The diffusers are well-made, attractive, and easy to move around when I want to change where I’m using them. The fragrance vials are simple to replace, and the scents themselves are honestly some of my favorites. I genuinely love almost every Pura fragrance I’ve tried.

One of the biggest things I appreciate is how little effort Pura requires. I don’t have to light a candle, remember to blow it out, or constantly think about keeping a diffuser running. I simply plug in the Pura diffuser, add a fragrance vial, set my schedule and intensity in the app, and that’s it. If it’s plugged in and scheduled, it basically takes care of itself.

I also appreciate having an alternative to burning candles throughout our home. With three kids and a busy household, I love being able to enjoy fragrance without having an open flame sitting around.

So, do I have any cons? Honestly, I don’t. Pura has become one of those products that I use so regularly that I can’t really imagine going back to my old routine. Between the beautiful diffusers, incredible fragrances, easy-to-use app, and sheer convenience, Pura has completely won me over.
